Since its foundation in 1979, SEMICROL has constantly strived for technological innovation by carrying out an important number if ICT projects with a high component of R+D+i. Our company commits to use new technologies which are “about to emerge” or “not enough tested”. The fact that not much is known about them when they are first used involves a high risk we are willing to take in order to propose and develop the most innovative solutions.

We innovate for our Clients by optimizing their business processes so that they can enhance their entrepreneurial competitiveness. The development of automated information systems including mobility terminals and new communication technologies involves a considerable effort in terms of technology integration but makes it possible to take technology “to the field” and makes it easier to perform identification, control and data integration tasks. The Management System governing our work is certified, among others, by the UNE 166002:2006 quality standard for R+D+I Management Systems for the scope, “Research, Development and Innovation of Information Technologies Applications”. This standard systematizes the management of our R+D+I activities and allows us to strengthen and expand our field of research, development and innovation. Besides, our future location in the Scientific and Technological Park of Cantabria embodies the strategic line which will allow SEMICROL to:
